Make time for Bees

If you are an avid bee keeper, you know that it takes time to work your bees. You need to check on the health of the hive. You need to collect the honey and make certain there is enough left for the members of the hive to survive the winter.

You may need to split your hive so that an overpopulated hive does not swarm. You need to move hives to make certain that food is available near by.

Time, time, time ...
Keep track of time in all aspects of your life with a watch that depicts your interest in your bees.
Here are some current samples from the shop keepers at Zazzle.

The honey comb is the basis for the beehives existence. The hexagon shape readily brings to ones mind the "busy bee" and its sweet honey.

The structure of the comb is strong and allows for ample storage of food stuffs, as well as a secure place for raising the new bees. The wax that creates the comb structure is usable in many ways. Most prominent are candles, lip balm, furniture polish and much, much more.

Below are some creations using the honeycomb design (no actual combs were used in the creation of these items.)

Jigsaw puzzles for lazy summer days

Take the opportunity to share your love of the bee keeper's joys during the upcoming summer months.

There is nothing like concentrating of piecing together a jig-saw puzzle in the cooling breeze from a window, to pass the time on a hot summer day. Bees seem to always be active and buzzing about in a hurry. Take the time to enjoy their activity by piecing together a picture showing their work collecting pollen, or filling the honeycomb.

Other views of apiary activities are also available in puzzle format. Check out the items below, or other Bee related images here.
